Recently I have been reading a book called Secrets of Rock Star Programmers by Ed Burns. I found this quite an interesting read and managed to get through the 320 odd pages within one day. If you are looking for a non-technical book to read you might find this book worth picking up.

This book basically consists of interviews with some of the big hitters in the Software Development industry, not just people from the Java world.

Each of the people interviewed in this book are asked a series of questions around what Soft, Hard, and Business skills are needed to really be successful in Software Development and I though all the people who are included in this book has something interesting to say when answering questions on these topics.
